We got back from our much needed vacation in Vegas a week ago. It was nice to get away from the monotony of college life. It was Wayne's first time and Temprance's of course. I have been there twice and so it was fun to take them to see all the hotels and shows. Wayne was amazed at all the extravagant hotels and all the detail that they put into the architecture and decor. He loved all the lights and the flamboyancy of the hotels. His favorite part was Fremont Street in
downtown Vegas because it is the setting to one of his video games, Rainbow Six Vegas. We took Temprance to see the MGM lions and she really enjoyed that. We also got to see Rain Forest Cafe and the mechanical animals and she thought that they were so cool. Her favorite part was playing in the hotel pool.

It is always wonderful to spend time with family. Temprance loves playing with her Gangy and Pop pop, and her Aunt Lisha. Now that we are home I can tell that she misses them and all the love and attention that they give her. It is even nicer to spend time with family when they pay for you to go on vacation. We got to go on this awesome trip and all we had to pay for was gas! Thanks mom and dad! They even paid for Wayne and I to go on a date to a show. We saw Mystere by Cirque Du Soleil. It was the most amazing show that I've ever seen. The acrobatics and the choreography were inspiring. Watching all the incredible things that these performers could do with their bodies was transcendent. We loved it! All the free shows that are on the Strip took us all week to see and we were there for four days!

It is nice to be home again and not living out of a bag. Wayne is anxious for the semester to end all he has left is one simple project and one final and then he has eleven days of relaxation! I am anxious for the sun to come back so that Temprance and I can go on some adventures and make a lot of messes. I am so excited for Conference this weekend and hearing the inspiring talks from the leaders of this church!
